That's because the idea of MUDs are based on these games, chief. Well, this and Adventure, and
many other of these sort of games (this one being possibly one of the most popular back in the
day)
Also, this game taught me as a child to fear grues. They're EVERYWHERE.

Commands(not all, but this i found myself):
-look
-i(nventory)
-go (south,north,east,west or somewhere else)
-take
-drop
-open
-close
everything depends on situation, so if you see closed mailbox, type "open mailbox"
