the throwing darts stop you from moving but not your double. move to the left side of the little
platform, run towards the gem pit, and shoot the second dart. the double will keep running
forwards but you will stop to throw the dart.

hah, I seem to have glitched it slightly. I wanted to see if there was anything different if you
passed your shadow, rather than killing it, so I used the dart-pause trick to make the double
jump past me. I was on the other side of the pit where the double starts, and it was on the left.
Couldn't exit to the right, so I jumped in. The double exploded when it hit the gems (unlike the
first time I did the second ending, where the double just passed straight through), I started
warping from bottom to top (like normal when you fall off the bottom). Then the screen shattered
giving me the "poetic end".
