Utopian cults are always failures, but for much simpler reasons:
The people who start them and run them are pro-bullshitters.
People in general are not crooks as you describe, otherwise we wouldn't be successful as a
species. We'd spend 99.95% of our time trying to rip each other off rather than figuring things
out, and we'd still be at chimp-with-stick level as a result, all of which would have already
gotten us wiped out since chimps are much much better at that shit.

Oh, and just to be clear, zeitcrap IS a Utopian commune cult, but a bunch of their ideas are
either just fine as-is or are close to being correct. The reason being that a bunch of their
