OP here. This version was among other things meant to include sub-units of money as well as a
boost to exping. Those both things seem to work fine. However, caveat, there may be a bug in the
gold code. Don't have time to test it myself right now

also, brief changelog of things in older versions.
1.7:
Learning should affect progress less and CHA and Sixth Sense should affect it more.
1.6 and earlier:
Added melee weapon tiers to 24 from 16
Added ranged weapon tiers to 28 from 16
Added ammo tiers
Mount rules changed completely due to a bug in the original code, now grant +str and +con instead
of +hp
Rangers, Archs are now melee chars
Cowboys are now ranged chars
Non-magic using character level up stat gains substantially increased
Bards are now a magic using class with their own rules different from wizards
A ton of bugfixes ranging from NaNtriangles to undefined dragons

Please don't listen to this newfag he is dumb.
This is the real spell guide, correct at least up to version 1.6:
Enlarge Muscles: Passive +Str equal to spell level
Resistance: Passive +Con equal to spell level
Quicken: Passive +Dex equal to spell level
Hypnosis: Passive +Cha equal to spell level
Concentration: Passive +Int equal to spell level
Forseeing: Passive +Wis equal to spell level
Fireball: High damage, damage depends on Int and spell level
Heal: Straight-up heal, heal may depend on Int, definitely depends on spell level
Poison: Med damage plus Damage-Over-Time, damage may depend on Int, definitely depends on spell
level, Damage-Over-Time does not change with Int, changes with spell level.
Ice Arrow: Small damage, also slows enemy attack speed, damage/slow may depend on Int, damage
increases with spell level, current observation says slow likely also increases with spell level.

>>1375987
Sixth Sense: Increased item(LOOT, NOT QUEST) drop rate; XXX seems to be either 100% drop or so
near it you might as well call it that.
Learning: Increaed exp, further increased with spell level.
Teleportation: Increased travel speed; Teleportation II is twice as fast as no Teleportation at
all, Teleportation L gives you barely enough time to read where you're traveling to,
Teleportation CCL barely lets you see the travel meter.
Regeneration: Passive HP regen in battle, HP restored with each pulse is equal to spell level.

To the Anon who is writing these updates, is there any way to fix things like this:
http://img694.imageshack.us/img694/4382/necromancer01level17.png and then this:
http://img718.imageshack.us/img718/5208/necromancer01undefined.png from happening? Those
screenshots were taken in v1.0, for the record.
What happened was he got a quest to kill 44 Dire Rats in the Battlefield, and they are such a
rare enemy encounter there that it took him roughly 36 hours to complete the quest, at which
point he had gained over 1900 of each loot type available in the zone, then he went and sold it
all and got roughly 600 sextillion gold, and for some reason because of that he got launched
about fifteen zones beyond The End, and all he did for a very long time was get his quest, go
out, get one-shot, get another quest one zone earlier, go out, get one-shot...

>>1375993
Yeah, it's fixable. I'm not sure if I want to fix it, though, because it would make it very easy
to get to The End by cheating. 36 hours of grindan shouldn't put you in the vicinity...

Yeah that was the problem, 36 hours of killing shit in the Battlefield hadn't even given him 50%
of level 18, it was just some weird thing where due to the amount of gold he had he got shot well
beyond The End and then just kept getting one-shot until he died enough times to get knocked back
to zones he could survive in (namely the forest camp)
