Why did he cancel it?

Nobody knows, except for him.
The guy's popularity on /f/ was built by taking requests, no matter how evil or wacky, and
placing them into his game. Now the game is supposedly "canceled", even though the groundwork
still remains in multiple variations.
A lot of people in /co/ suspect that it is a rouse just to see how many loyal fans he truly has.
So most of us are just going along with it for now, suspecting he will "surprise" us with a
working version.

He said that he did so much of the zu tripple project when he was still an amateur, it's too much
to keep up with. He's starting over from scratch to make things much easier.
So it is cancelled, but he's also making a superior version in its stead.
