>> [_] Anonymous 09/22/10(Wed)02:53 No.1379052

I have the latest flash player and this thing tells me I need to update my flash player? Very
suspicious if you ask me. Must have some kind of trojan or virus embedded deep within it. I don't
trust it and I don't think anyone else should, either.

OP confirmed for most innovation brought to imageboards since ten fucking years ago

One thing I don't like about this new version:
the scrolling speed suddenly accelerates and images start clearing out for no reason.
I assume it's the auto-refresh? Any way to make it manual-only?

>> [_] Anonymous 09/22/10(Wed)05:27 No.1379167

  No more animated gifs?

>> [_] Anonymous 09/22/10(Wed)05:34 No.1379171

is this made in actionscript 3?
if so, you can make it an android app with adobe air and release it on the market when adobe air
  goes live in october

yes you can, alt+click or click and use the menu to download images, hover over them in the
download que to view them. Gifs are animated there

  >>1379165
It's still th same as before in that respect, although I lowered the 'max images' setting to 1000
from 2000. Set it back to a higher number and it will take tonger for images to be removed.

  >>1379052
Then sir, don't use it. If you ask me, this would be a pretty ridiculously elaborate flash file
  to spread a Trojan with.

  >>1379171
Yup, AS3 with Flex 4. I already have an extended version with AIR features.

  >>1379063
You can use your browser to run it locally. Or download the
  Flash Player Projector" from here:
  http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
There is some advice on running locally in the help window.

  >>1379311

I would suggest doing this in /gif/
alt-click anything interesting. Go make coffee, get lube and tissues. Enjoy the fapping.

>> [_] Anonymous 09/22/10(Wed)13:34 No.1379437

So Flash is running stuff on the Internet with MORE privileges than local? Also, previous
versions of this worked without marking it as trusted. Dunno what that is about.

  Anyway, awesome as always.

I'm sure Kimmo Alm will appreciate this

>> [_] Anonymous 09/22/10(Wed)13:57 No.1379448

  >>1379437

It has to do with the level of access over dynamically loaded data. To add the download
capability it needs access to the raw data. When the file is running in the "local_with_network"
sandbox there are restrictions over access loaded binary data. I managed to overcame this
restriction by using some 3rd party image decoding libraries, but those are unstable atm. Run it
untrusted if you like, it works, but will leak memory and lag more. No fishy business going on in
the file. Decompile it if you like.

>> [_] Anonymous 09/22/10(Wed)14:02 No.1379458

  >>1379448
or another way of putting it.
When running here online the swf and the loaded data are in the same domain.
If running locally the swf and the loaded data are from different domains. And this creates some
silly restrictions, unless the file is trusted.

could add a report button for images.
does the post reporting feature get used much by the mods?

>> [_] Captain Flaccid lol, I have !The.Gay2w6 09/22/10(Wed)15:33 No.1379526

Is the load full images still in this? I can't find it.

>> [_] bug report Anonymous 09/22/10(Wed)15:56 No.1379548

If you alt+click an image that's already dead, it gets stuck "loading" and can't be removed from
the downloads list. It also kills the "save all" button.

"clear all" does remove it, but doesn't fix the "save all" button.

  >>1379548
  Thanks for the detailed report!
In all the testing I've done I've only ever had 1 image download fail. I'm able to reproduce this
bug by pulling the plug, lol. should be fixed next version
