  This is a newer version. Controls on the bottom
  I was also able access local files:
  file:///path/to/file.jpg
  or possibly on windows (untested):
  file://c:/path/to/file.jpg

  It looks like you have to run the flash file locally to use local images and from the web to use
  web urls. Must be a security restriction
