it use to work but it stopped working when /r9k/ went down. open it and look it shows /r9k/ i
believe do to the lack of /r9k/ it won't work or load anything not till either someone make a new
version with /r9k or 4chan brings back /r9k/

I dont think that's the reason why.
I used this flash swf extensively before it stopped working.
There were short periods (before it stopped working for good) where page changes -- different
banners, moot putting up a sticky comment at the top of the page as a news item, that'd make it
stop working.
Apparently, it expects the page to be in a certain format with a particular set of headers, and
moot has changed that.
By default it starts off reading /b/. It wouldnt read /r9k/ or /new/ unless you told it read that
group.
It worked after moot added /soc/, even though there was no menu item for it in 4chanlive.swf.
Yeah, I'd really like to get this working too.
There is a standalone (.exe) app for windows that does much the same thing. It's called something
like browser #59, and I think it's on megaupload.

This isn't the newest version.
The latest version was V12 or V13 - it can be downloaded off swfchan.
...but it still doesn't work.
V11 was the last version that worked standalone for me, but no version at all has worked for over
a month.
There was a website called "4chanlive" that ran the latest version...which supported stuff like
click and drag...plus it had facebook buttons and crap...and it stopped working too.
They replaced it with a 4chan search, which worked for about 2-3 weeks, then went down
(overloaded the bandwidth he was alotted)
