I'm going on a Square binge and I've decided to download and play one of the two square titles
called Saga Frontier for the psx. Do you guys know which I should play first?

I've only played 1, but I know they're totally different from each other.
SaGa Frontier 1 is in the spirit of the old 8-bit Gameboy Final Fantasy Legend games: it's set in
a world made of many separate dimensions called "Regions", and playable characters come in four
types (Humans, Mystics, Mechs and Monsters) each of which use completely different game mechanics
(e.g. mechs and monsters don't directly level up by fighting at all) It has seven different
quests, each of which features a main character from a different one of the Regions.
SaGa Frontier 2 is in the spirit of the Super NES Romancing SaGa games, and has a fairly standard
medieval setting with only human characters. It only has one quest, though I believe you control
different main characters in different parts of it.

I would say 1 OP. I've not played the second one, but looking back at how bad I failed on 1, I
just want to beat it like a bitch through all the quests.

I'm of the opinion that if you want to ever play the first one, do that one first. I started on
the second one before ever getting 1 and the art style and somewhat interesting plot spoiled me.
Loved the second one, never finished it, regret that. Played a little of the first, didn't get
far before abandoning it due to lack of interest.
