You can't grow plants that provide nourishment for people in the desert, due to the lack of
humidity, not the heat, Plants actually grow in the hotter areas of the earth faster a.k.a.
"Tropics." I sort of doubt the growth of plants on these floating islands though, the risk of sea
water splashing up and spoiling plants makes it so that only palm trees grow.. All their food
would have to be grown in Islands dedicated to being "Green Houses"
