However, a lot of the people on Kongregate, and some of the people on Newgrounds, didn't get that it was a satire, which made their comments all the more hilarious. Hopefully you guys will be able to appreciate the satire, even if you don't like the game itself. As always, ask away, I'll answer any questions you have for me. For the sake of good fun, the game-completion bonus menu is available from the beginning on this 4chan version. It resembles how empty the world really is >> [_] !bksFCWEVEQ 04/30/11(Sat)17:47 No.1504014 >>1504013 I tried that early on in the game, but the way I had the platforming engine built didn't really support that. I'm working on developing an engine that can properly do that for my next few projects, though. >> [_] Anonymous 04/30/11(Sat)19:18 No.1504038 You know what? Regardless of the fact that this is satire, I actually quite enjoyed the game. I seriously do hope to see more of these kinds of games regardless of the fact you stated clearly you do not want to see more of these kinds of games. Also could you name a few shitty art games that are plaguing the internet? I must be living under a rock, but I have not heard or seen much of these games. >> [_] !bksFCWEVEQ 04/30/11(Sat)19:48 No.1504045 >>1504038 The people on newgrounds mentioned this one guy I hadn't heard of until now who makes absolutely ATROCIOUS games; Austin Breed's the name, and the first "game" of his I checked was "sweatshop boy" viewable at: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/539414 It's absolutely terrible. One of the games that inspired this though was "(I Fell In Love With) The Majesty of Colors" which was just an irritating game in general. And I agree, I want to see more art games that are enjoyable. One game "Don't Look Back" is one of the more enjoyable art games I've played, and I really want to see more games actual art games that are good. My main issue is with bad games that try to justify their shittiness with an "artistic" message. >> [_] Anonymous 04/30/11(Sat)20:58 No.1504071 I'd say The Company of Myself is pretty good too, if it counts. >> [_] Anonymous 04/30/11(Sat)21:06 No.1504073 >>1504038 Can't remember the name of it, but there's one that tells you to do something then says the opposite if you do it and berates you if you don't. Some shitty platformer with trippy visuals. There's also that "You only have one chance" game. >> [_] Anonymous 04/30/11(Sat)21:18 No.1504074 I remember you posting that one flash where you shoot people, and it gives you a random quip about their life.
