They live for 10 seconds max, and start a new generation after 20 individuals. Black graph signifies maximum distance by generation, green signifies average distance. It would be better if it ran about ten simuations simultaneously, with a single change on each one, and then chooses the best. Probably work much faster. In fact, I want to take a crack at it. This physics system is a library we can download somewhere, right? >> [_] Anonymous 12/30/08(Tue)03:21 No.869269 mine keeps dying in the same spot every time, even though it's not tipping over and it's still moving forward. i wonder if it's bugged >> [_] Anonymous 12/30/08(Tue)03:33 No.869272 >>869269 probably that's just the farthest distance the author set it to go, just so that it wouldn't take years to evolve. >> [_] Anonymous 12/30/08(Tue)03:34 No.869273 >>869272 >>869269 probably the end of its lifespan and it's having trouble getting further than that in the set amount of time >> [_] Anonymous 12/30/08(Tue)03:36 No.869274 >>869233 at least not with current technology. We have to use quick morphing trial and error to make something resembling AI now, but AI is theoretically possible without randomness. >> [_] Anonymous 12/30/08(Tue)04:07 No.869289 Author's email is wreck@devisland.net, in case you wanted to ask him anything. >> [_] Anonymous 12/30/08(Tue)04:32 No.869298 >>869289 Yeh, like why he purpously made his cart game play like a piece of shit and why there aren't any weapons, or a goddamn track for that matter. It's progress has flatlined. Two other copies I opened later were outright failures initially, and took countless generations to get it right; However at the moment they're the most successful and are going further than the cart that got it right from the get-go. >> [_] Anonymous 12/30/08(Tue)07:24 No.869359 My cart needs more lifespace and is going to get rid of the inferior east races >> [_] Anonymous 12/30/08(Tue)07:32 No.869360 how do you beat the guard? none of the items work >> [_] Anonymous 12/30/08(Tue)09:00 No.869374 >>869360 Must be a browser glitch for you.
