I used Carrara 8 PRO. I made the Models in Hexagon 2.5... for some reason Blender's User
Interface Make my eyeball's hurt.

I took maya and 3ds Max, maya is definitely the harder one to learn, but it is true and true, the
end all of 3d programs.
I can hook you up with tons of material related to it and get you well on your way to learning it
if you want. Always willing to help out a 3D-ude.

The 3d Program I use sadly doesn't have the great Physics capabilties that you nornally see from
the good stuff.
Either that, or I havem't figured it out yet. I've tried , but I'll have to try harder. :)

appreciate.
Its also funny how well the music fits.
As a 2D animator who started out in 3D I probably appreciate it more than most people. The irony,

been trying to think of how to fix the focus issue. That position makes it really hard to focus
on her. I do have to work on positioning. Do you think it's the position itself? or design (robot
draws more attention)? or something else?

i suppose one one obvious way to rectify this would be to 'tone-down' the appearance of the
background and robot so the girl is noticed more.
or you could play with camera angles like you mentioned.
or maybe there's some creative solution I'm not thinking of.

These act a lot like how you are performing the positions, except the roles are reversed in the

Light effects on the robot draw more attention to it than anything.
High volumes of light in low light situations always draw the eye. I like how you used the light
on her armor and such. Skin vs robot with fancy lights, the robot wins every time.
I would suggest toning down on the luminosity on the lights, making them more opaque and faintly
glowy.

Hi, obnoxious 2d animator here again. You weren't talking to me but I'm going to give you my
advice.
Get some paper or a 2d program and animate it old school first. I promise you it'll be a huge
learning experience.
3D character animation is this weird hybrid monster no mortal man can master. It's not so much
what its capable of, its the way in which its done which guarantee's failure. Its great as a tool
for games but if you're just trying to communicate something through an image you're probably
better off sticking to 2D. There's no soul to it.

Also, I've never heard a 2D animator say they wish they were doing their project in 3D.
2D animators are begrudged towards the volume of work involved in their art, but its more like an
old married couple who always complain about each other but its really just because they love
each other so much.
3D animation is this quest for reality through art...there's always some new tool that must be
developed or some streamlined process which must be understood. The key word being always. No
matter how good you get it, it won't be "real".

Your points are very valid, and I totally understand your views. My skills in general are
limited, and I have a lot to learn. I also have always notice that 2D and 3D Have different feels

Not at all. I understand trying to hone your skills first. Perhaps I should also mention I took 2
years of 3d animation at college a while ago, so the least I can do is offer sound advice toward
the composition of structure and the placement of verticies. I can understand how frustrating
getting the right lighting can be, or modeling a character, boning her, then finding out that
when you try and animate her it stretches weird and the lighting makes it boldly obvious you
fucked up. I'm always happy to offer advice.
As far as the character is concerned, there are some things you could easily improve, but without
knowing certain factors like if you're going for a certain toony look with exaggerated features I
can't make a complete prognosis.

The ass looks like two basketballs, when it should curve more like footballs, and the hips are
very disproportionate to the waist, the thighs look very fatty, yet again, something that could
easily be overlooked if you are going for a more cartoony style. Also, I think you should
consider re-skinning the robot dick and making it look less, organic, and more mechanical. A
human dick on a robot doesn't make for good looks. I understand this appears to be a test of your
current abilities, so of course you have room to spare for modification, there is plenty to
improve.

yeah, I was going for a cartoony look. The basketball butt and very disproportionate hip to waist
ratio is the style that I like.
As for the human Dick on the robot, I'm in trouble,'cause there will be two on each one,
