  I like debian and all, but arch does have its place. As long as you take 10 seconds to read the
  Arch main page, you should be fine. Debian is pretty great, but if you want software as close to
  upstream as possible, you will have to use either Slackware, which has no package management,
  Arch, or a BSD.
