personally if I got these options:
+ maybe 20 billions in 3 years after much hard work
+ guaranteed 2 billions now with no work

Information on the internet traverses time by 48 hours to days.

You can see things on the fleeting internet that is from 48 days in the future, or past and it
doesn't really change anything at all.
4chan users would be the only ones in the world with any awareness of this at all though. Even if
they are, there is no way to utilize this information.

I heard about Oculus VRift $2b Facebook going down the drain a month ago with this flash. In this
  very thread.

Information reorganizes a lot. You didn't think all information in your life and the world was
100% new fresh content, did you?

There aren't enough mental connections in your brain to really identify every small pattern that
  gets reorganized within that time-span.

I'm seriously challenging this notion that "social networking" makes other aspects of life more
sociable. It's like having a career fair and expecting people to land a job or remember
recruiters' names. Or hosting an anime convention and expecting a level of interaction above
nervous small talk or autistic arguing. Works in theory, not in practice. Somehow merging social
networking into gaming isn't going to magically bring conversations and relationships to
something that's supposedly lacking in it by nature. It's just going to make the game less of an
  immersive experience.

But if you're unconvinced and still interested, I have this other game I'd like you to check out.
It's called Ingress. Not only is it free and massively multiplayer, but you're totally NOT doing
Google's handiwork and taking pictures for their streetview. Or constantly giving out your
location and travel habits. Or providing a collective, ad-hoc surveillance network for government
  agencies. Really.

I never said that. I don't have to abide by the US laws, so they can't do shit to me. I won't be
arrested while reading loli manga or torrenting Justin Bieber.

Counterpoint: Reaper's Bones Figurines, the hundreds of webcomic print book backings, Shovel
Knight, Starbound, and probably a lot of other things that I can't think of because I don't go on
  Kickstarter all that often.

NSA doesnt spesifically care if you read lolis or pirate stuff. They just put it in your folder
incase they need to pull some dirt on you for some reason. I really doubt they actively listen
and track people except for politicians, companies, military personal, or generally people of
rank. But if I was a NSA employee, I'd spy on 4chan people just for fun.

Yeah, deep inside I'm aware of that and just as mad as everyone else. Scary stuff, everything
around us is owned by like 5 mega-corporations, with one using them all to spy on us.
