I'm generally happy with the results I got in as2 and as tempting as it is to convert several lines of code to as3 I'd rather have a more competent programmer help rewrite the code altogether for efficiency's sake. I was also using a state machine in as2 and I'm not 100% sure how to implement a similar system in as3 what with the function loop changes.. so I'd rather not dive deeper than I should. I know I'm bound to run into bigger issues in the future so I'd prefer to just work with someone who actually knows what they're doing haha >> [_] Anon 2229084 movement and gravity/collision would come first, then jumping (which has separate velocity friction) and then a refinement to the collision (assuming we'd start with something basic) since no one wants to play with that buggy flash collision.
