  Only reason he isn't talking directly about the product is because the video came from the
  official channel and was more of a rant than a demonstration of their development process.

  If anything this is probably the best case outcome for a response to a rant. Reddit baselessly
  shitting all over the video without context, but none of the fanbase that mattered really taking

  So I have a pretty good amount of experience, both as a tech developer, and a business person. I
  cannot imagine how one just gives away ~$50,000-$100,000 like that. No one gets paid up front
  like that. Developers get paid hourly, and everyone else on the planet gets paid on a weekly or
  biweekly basis. How do you give someone an entire salary without receiving any work? So what
  happened after the first week of working with the guy who contributed nothing? Did he just pay
  him again for no reason?

  There might be something to your comment if this was a big corporate operation, where commitments
  are big, and its difficult to establish someones value in advance, but this isnt a big corporate
  operation. Its a kickstarter campaign, ie, just two guys fucking around.
