A week or so ago I posted about how I'm basically crushing over this 30 something year old woman that works as a community service 'volunteer'. She was drinking and driving on her birthday. She doesn't come in often but the first time she did I had fallen for her. Now she's come in twice in a row, but since then I've not seen her. Her and I work in storage, and once we priced a painting together, it was of Venice. I really wanted it after that day, but sadly it was gone the day after. Transcoding stage lets me adjust source bytestream depths for video and audio, and I pull my flash in under the weight limit while looking and sounding fairly nice. I only add audio on a separate layer in Flash if the source vid is without audio, like a GIF - but then again, I almost always prefer to make an MP4 out of the GIF in Vegas (piece of piss) which allows me edit audio alongside... then transcode, yadda yadda

You know that you always cut a loop in raw WAV format at the highest resolution possible- when you import to Flash, DO NOT assume it's treating it as a WAV!! Go to the audio objects properties, and make sure you set it to .wav (it will probably be set to .mp3) and match the source resolution, or dither lower for filesize. Ex: source audio .wav 44,100kHz 128kbps import to flash, set properties to .wav 44,100kHz 48kbps (drastically reduces stream weight, and still retains acceptible sound quality)
