Its fun for me to find the patterns in opponents. The base building is tedious though. >> Anon 25293 So, what's new in this update? >> Anon 25295 Whenever you replay the game, you gotta relearn the syntax used to know which attack an enemy uses. Retarded. Also, the game is fucking bugged because whenever I play the game for some time, I eventually will reach a point where all buttons are greyed-out and I cannot do anything. >> Anon 25296 >># when that happened to me it was because i was overencumbered and have to throw items from item button >> Anon 25298 >># Figured that out later. It's just retarded bad UI design. Also, it's fucking boring to have to do that retarded rock-paper-scissors shit with some lvl 1 rat when you're already a goddamn cityburning dragon. Why the fuck don't they give you a "yeah you're so overleveled, the enemy just died" button? Also, at first they give you a fuck options menu, and then you can only do some deepthroat wtf. >> Anon 25299 Goddamn this combat system is fucking retarded. Either my memory is failing me because every fucking enemy has similar attack texts that all have a different effect, or this shit is just rock-paper-scissors with random effects./ >> Anon 25300 And the biggest load of bullshit ever is that dragon princess. First move you make ALWAYS hurts you, and every time she fights her attack syntaxes randomize meaning you'll eventually forget what syntax means what attack and screw up. >> Anon 25302 >># >># >># >># In absolute blunt honesty: Sounds to me like you're just too fucking stupid to play this game... Stick to CoD or something. Played it for quite some time and only stopped because I "ran out of content". There are still some rather annoying bugs, but I think the game itself is pretty good. >> Anon 25309 >># Excuse me that I'm not some fucking braindead autistic furry fuckup who spends hours playing a game to learn the specific (random?) meaning of some sentence to determine what that means. This is just a chore. If you want to know how to do good text based combat, go fucking look at MUD's. Of course, that's a bit too old and obscure for your retarded mongoloid brain. >> Anon 25315 >># >Excuse me that I'm not some fucking braindead autistic furry fuckup who spends hours playing a game to learn the specific (random?) meaning of some sentence to determine what that means. lol, are you trying to make some kind of record? Most pointless swearing in one post? >spends hours to learn the specific meaning of some sentence You need hours to read a line of text? Are you fucking shitting me? I didn't even play the game for that long. After about 2 hours I've had seen it all. The time spend to 'learn' the combat system was, uhm, zero. Ever heared of common sense? For example: If something is charging you dodging might just do the trick. I'm not a furry either. But thanks for proving your own stupidity with yet another pointless rage comment. And yes, 'Multi User Dungeons' are darn old you stupid hipster. And it costed a fucking fortune to play them. >> Anon 25316 >># I concur. Before I restart, I'd also like to know what's new in update. Worth? Not worth? >> Anon 25333 >># pretty hard to figure out how much new content came in from a cursory glance, because on the creators blog: "0.24 is live. Mostly a lot of new inventory UI. Yay, UI?" so, uh... probably not >> Anon 25335 >># >New in 0.24 >Fixes and other changes to the Wolfen Wood Twincest scene. There was a bug that was breaking how it saved, meaning you had to catch it without save/reload before. That's fixed, including fixing broken saves when you load now. Yay. >New inventory improvements: >Auto-handling controls: You can set an item to automatically pick up or drop off whenever you enter an area with one of your bases (per item / per base. For example, if you need to move a bunch of stone from Dragonhome to Hunter's Garden, you can set it to pick up in Dragonhome and drop in Hunter's Garden, then just walk back and forth between the zones to move it.) Auto-Withdrawal is capped to prevent exceeding your carrying capacity. >Auto-Gift will automatically give the item to the appropriate follower whenever it enters the inventory where they are at. (Party inventory if they are with you, or base inventory if they are at a base.) This caps out when they no longer gain Gifts affinity from more of that item. (The formula has changed slightly for how much affinity gifts produce, also.) >Auto-Equip will cause pawns to equip that item when they Sleep, if it is usable for them and a higher level than their current equipment. Sorry: haven't implemented any priority system for that though. (NOTE: Auto-Equip is global for the item, not per base or anything.) >Manually equipping pawns can pull items from the base you are at. Yay. >Also, there's a new inventory quick-management screen. Hit Esc while viewing your inventory to access it. It lets you see what's in your party inventory and local base, move items between them, and toggle all those new switches from a compressed view. All this shit is in the link in the first reply of this thread. Is it that hard to just click on things >> Anon 25342 I concur, people who think this game is hard are dumber than the average 6-year-old. >> Anon 25343 >># when i don't have an account yea still though nice job dude >> Anon 25345 >># I had no prolem but it won't let you explore if you have too many items ... it's like skyrim logic where you move so slow >> Anon 25358 >># that's offensive to 6-year-olds >> Anon 25390 Honestly the fighting isn't too bad in my opinon. Yes, they aren't just telling you what attack is coming, you have to guess. Use a little guesswork. I found the more I played the more I understood how to fight. And I'm not even that high leveled right now. Methinks guy up there might just be a bit of a tard. >> Anon 25391 Anyone mind telling me where this saves to? I quite enjoy this game and would like to keep my save. While CoC and TiTs are fine, This is so much better. A base with operations, followers with things based off of day/or night stats and more, This game is pretty well made, even for a simple text game. I can only wait and see how far this will go. >> Anon 25393 >># >># attack > overpower > attack Reload if you died, game autosaves everyday anyway. Chess game is complete BS though. Fuck spending 20mins trying to do a useless random encounter. >> Anon 25396 Combat isn't difficult... if you grind. If you play this like an actual RPG, fighting enemies of a higher level and using your own skills to your advantage this game is just a pain to play. >> Anon 25399 >># >comparing any fur shit to CoD You're set to lose bruh. >> Anon 25401 Speaking of this game... What was the name of that other text-based game, where you could choose to be a horse person, cat person, dog person, or human, and you could put your own penis in your vagina and get pregnant? An anon had complained on the game, on how raping a wolf involved him penetrating you, even if you had a dick. >> Anon 25406 >># I haven't played enough of it to be sure but Nimin's probably the game you're talking about. >># It's really easy to punch above your weight in this game, though. Genuinely the only bullshit is low wisdom obscuring tells and the weird tempo mechanics disabling the move you need to use sometimes. I don't think I'm more perceptive than the average guy and unless it was a feint I picked up on what my opponent was trying to do to me almost every time. |
