I feel this to an extent, anything you say even in a joking manner can be blown out of proportion
and used against you for little to no reason.
I personally blame tumblr for all these over sensitive people that believe the world is sunshine
and rainbows and anyone negative needs to be removed. It's sickening.
Back before internet and communication was on high you could do things irl that were bad and
people wouldn't really find out cause they had no way. When the internet started getting big and
every person got a cellphone it became harder to get away with deviance but online it was still
ok, things could be anonymous and even if they weren't no one really cared. Leaning into 2007ish
people started to become a lot more aware of people's negative attitudes and sought after to
change that or remove it.
Where do we go from here? 4chan is one of the few sites left where people can have honest
conversations because we're all anonymous. No one cares about taking the moral high ground it's
all about the most logical answer for the greater good. What do they call us? The cancer of the
Internet. Just because we speak the truth and have free will over what we say without it being
influenced by the opinions of others.

pretty much my thoughts as well. im very happy for these ten years on 4chan because ive learned
to live with the fact that people think different. as moot said when he went away, there's little
like 4chan on the web. anyone can post a message and they get equal exposure.
meanwhile on twitter, youtube, facebook and reddit you get downvoted or shitted upon if you don't
have the correct opinion. it traps people in echo chambers and makes people think that even the
slightest deviation from the masses means they are a bad person. especially due to google and
facebook making algorithms so that you only get content you want to see.
the worst part about not being anonymous is the construction of a persona. ive changed my
opinions about stuff a million times and have been free to do so because there is no paper trail
of me online. those with accounts tied to their real identity will have a much harder time doing
so since people will keep reminding them of things theyve said in the past.
it'll be especially hard on children growning up. they need to be able to change their mind
constantly. sadly i doubt most parents can see the problem when their kids make facebook pages,
twitter posts and youtube videos.
i'd even go as far as saying that for a healthy development you should be anonymous online until
you're at least 20 years old because before then you won't be settled in who you truly are. 15
year olds don't have life figured out and can be really obnoxious in their posts, something that
will keep biting them in the ass forever unless they are smart enough to be anonymous.
being anonymous also keep people honest so you get real insight in how people think. many can't
take the honesty but these "good" people on facebook/twitter also think the same way, they just
sugar coat their every message and dont talk about many things in fear of tainting their online
persona.

The biggest problem I have with the modern SJW left is their inability to recognize or accept
that different people can have different opinions.
I mean yes I think 90% of them are suicidal egalitarians with twisted and perverse world views
which often border on the line of evil but I can still accept they are human.
When I see that society is truly divided I only wish for compromise.
I see no justice in forcing large groups of people to live in "my system" or under "my rules"
etc...
I say let us divide the lands, let us shrink and decentralize the Governments so groups of people
can live the way THEY want and not the way others or some Government tells them to live.
big Governments and big countries can only survive if they can agree on the important things and
if something binds them together be that ethnicity or nationalism.
nowadays the "rulers" of the world are attacking both and what you get left with are ethnic
tribes and delusional globalists trapped in their bubbles of privilege and ignorance, and often
trapped in their bubbles of illogical self-hatred and guilt and as a result have made themselves
truly ripe for slaughter
anyway... all this shit is too complicated for me but in the end I see the only solution is
opposition to centralization, opposition to big Government.
globalism for all will result in a sort of fuedislism for all.
while imagining the end of a tribelistic human race and a world of nations is perhaps nice we are
not even close to being ready for such a thing and its continued attempt will only lead to misery
and destruction.
