This could have been poignant but it relies too heavily on nihilism that's been done to death and
is currently being killed further by shows like Rick and Morty.
There are also some points it raises that are far too specific to apply to most people, and while
yeah they might make the odd shut in sad ("your family prays for your absence") these are going
to miss the mark for everyone else.

It doesn't make it less valid, It does make it more boring however. A lot of nihilisms punch
comes from its bitter and sudden gut punches though, by overplaying it nihilism may actually
become less compelling to people though, so in a way you could argue that doing it to death might
make it less valid in that sense.
Hadn't really considered that before typing out this post though.
