If you find this kind of light contact to be no big deal, try to imagine the stranger was trying to hug you instead, to get the idea. Given, the reporter could have used a bit more tact. But this touchy guy doesn't seem to understand the concept of boundaries, he's stepping way beyond the line despite being told not to, probably convinced that his mindset of "everyone likes physical contact even if they deny it" is an absolute truth.
