I remember seeing this flash and it had me researching/playing the indie game it came from.
The story was the only redeeming point for the game and it was pretty mediocre at best if anyone
was curious. Not enough world development/character progression to give you a hard choice at the
end.

I was a lot more invested in Oneshot more than Undertale desu even though undertale has a little
more fun to it while Oneshot focuses on puzzles. Both are one of a kind and well worth their price

What a coincidence. I finished oneshot today. Found it to be way better than undertale.
I think it expresses our society nowadays pretty good. It's more a story about Decay and Hope
(and sacrifice). Undertale on the other hand felt more bland, more like a childrens story which
could be said about Oneshot too.
The thing is that it felt like it had more depth to it. More reflection about the real world and
so on. You could quote Tarkovsky on that. We only watch but don't see.
For me that's the difference between Undertale and Oneshot. It's more a work of art.
Undertale tries to hard in my opinion to be something special and make something new, like in
your face.
The characters might be a little bit more fleshed out, but I felt Oneshot still felt more
immersive.
