It's more a story about Decay and Hope (and sacrifice). Undertale on the other hand felt more bland, more like a childrens story which could be said about Oneshot too. The thing is that it felt like it had more depth to it. More reflection about the real world and so on. You could quote Tarkovsky on that. We only watch but don't see. For me that's the difference between Undertale and Oneshot. It's more a work of art. Undertale tries to hard in my opinion to be something special and make something new, like in your face. The characters might be a little bit more fleshed out, but I felt Oneshot still felt more immersive.
