You're imagining it, faggot >> [_] Anonymous 07/20/10(Tue)17:22 No.1323739 >>1323734 There's two ways you register clicks. One is on click, meaning the moment the mouse clicks, it registers. The other is on release, meaning when you release the mouse button, it registers. This game is set up for the latter. >> [_] Anonymous 07/20/10(Tue)17:24 No.1323741 >>1323739 No it isn't. You're a moron. Your mouse must be busted or you're just stupid. Now stop pretending you know anything FlashDevelop kiddie >addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, >> [_] Anonymous 07/20/10(Tue)17:28 No.1323745 >>1323741 Suck my Flixel >> [_] Anonymous 07/20/10(Tue)17:35 No.1323748 >>1323741 >Implying mice can click incorrectly and yet still click correctly. >> [_] Anonymous 07/20/10(Tue)17:36 No.1323752 >>1323739 So you're saying CLICK but what you actually want is MOUSE_DOWN. Because Flash is more specific than that: MOUSE_UP is "release" as you first posted. A click is a whole action, involve down and up. Oh, I remember now, by "on release" you mean "onRelease"; I think that's from some archaic dead language. Why does it matter? Do you have a disability? Why can't you execute a full click? >> [_] Anonymous 07/20/10(Tue)17:39 No.1323754 >>1323752 I was actually referring to the physical mouse, if I wanted to refer to the "archaic dead language" you are talking about, I would have put it in quotes. Also thanks for acknowledging I was right. >> [_] Anonymous 07/20/10(Tue)17:39 No.1323755 >>1323748 I just don't get what difference it makes. MOUSE_DOWN is for when you want to click and hold, like drag and drop. You use it in a context where you want to know that the mouse is down but not necessarily back up yet. Why should it listen to MOUSE_DOWN? So that you can continue holding down the button over the empty space? What sense does that make? >> [_] Anonymous 07/20/10(Tue)17:40 No.1323756 >>1323754 Yes, you confused me with your ancient, uncivilized terminology. >> [_] Anonymous 07/20/10(Tue)18:21 No.1323785 >>1323755 Yes loser, use "MOUSE_DOWN". "CLICK" refers to "MOUSE_DOWN", then "MOUSE_UP" meaning that you have to do both on the watermelon in order to succeed. Only a total fucking noob would use the "CLICK" event in a clicking game like yours. >> [_] Anonymous 07/20/10(Tue)19:38 No.1323846 i agree that it should register on mouse down, not mouse up, ruins the game pretty bad. also there should be some goal you should reach, like a level advance each 10/20/30/40... and a life meter (50 dropped ones and it's game over). right now its more joke than game nice flash still though, saved >> [_] Anonymous 07/20/10(Tue)20:23 No.1323877 YOU PEOPE MAKE ME CRY ALL I WANED TO DO WAS MAKE NIGGER EAT MELUNZ AND NOW THERE IS ARGEUMENT ABOUT SOMEMOUSE THOING I DONT EVEN UNDERSTAND >> [_] Anonymous 07/20/10(Tue)22:50 No.1323982 >>1323785 This. >>1323752 If by "archaic dead language" you mean "java",m which uses a mouseReleased() listener. |
